Physicists from the University of Queensland have confirmed the theoretical possibility of time travel, though with certain limitations. While Einstein’s theory of relativity suggests the existence of time loops, the researchers emphasize that such travel could lead to paradoxes that might disrupt the course of events.
One of the researchers, Fabio Costa, warns about the risks associated with disrupting the flow of time, while his colleague, student Germain Tobar, suggests that space and time have the ability to “adapt” to avoid these paradoxes. This implies that, despite potential interference with the past, major events like pandemics are unlikely to be altered.
Thus, while time travel is theoretically possible, it remains a hypothesis, and the actual mechanisms for achieving it are still unclear. Even Stephen Hawking acknowledged the potential of time travel, but precise predictions about its realization are impossible to make.
